| 06-23-2009 "Bandwidth Exceeded Problem" |
This server experienced a "Over Bandwidth: error this afternoon. It was an error - we have moved on to a new server, and I am still trying to figure out the idiosyncracies of the it. I made a global change that reimplemented all of the lower bandwidth settings (this web portal uses substantial bandwidth). Unforthunately, the control panel did not show the lower settings. It took me a little while to figure out what was going on. Sorry for any inconvenience, and barring my stupidity the new server should be much more stable an environment for this web portal.

| 06-20-2009 Migration Completed |
I performed a migration to a new server this morning. Total time was about 15 minutes. Sorry for any inconvenience. |

| 05-23-2009 Site Change |
I am going to try and make a change on Sunday Morning (05/24/09) to speed the system up a bit, and lower the strain on the server, I tried it back in December but rolled it back, but I need to see if it will work one more time. Please bear with me as I try to implement this - Lord willing it will be transparent to users. IThis change should take place at midnight. |

| 12-17-2008 Video Files |
| There was a problem displaying the video files. I rebuilt all the file areas. Everything seems to be working now again. |
| 12-07-2008 Migration to new server successful |
| The migration to the new server, and the implementation to the "static" pages for the site was completed successfully. The site will no longer show how many users are online, and you can no longer choose a different color scheme. But the server load will be much lighter and the system should be much more stable. |

| 12-06-2008 Changing Servers |
| Baptist Ministries will take a small outage this morning, as I move it from one server to another. The current server is just not stable enough. Thank your for your patience. |

| 12-06-2008 Starting the move to the new server |
| There will be an outage once the nameservers change. I am instituting that change now, it can take an hour or two. |
| 12-06-2008 Minor Change to ease the server load |
I will be making a minor change shortly to help ease the load on the server (to prevent another forced outage like we had on Thanksgiving Day). The only affect I am told will be you will no longer be able to sort the the links, news, videos and articles any more. The links are by default sorted by title, the rest are sorted by date (new comes first). Please feel free to leave me comments if you have suggestions after the change is made.

| 12-06-2008 Internal Server Error? |
| I was attempting to make the change (talked about in the last NEWS) and everytime I change permissions on directories necessary to make it work, it starts generating an "internal server error." If you encountered that in the last few minutes, that is what caused it. I am leaving well enough alone for the time being and decide on what I need to do next to facilitate the changes if anything.... |

| 11-28-2008 Outage |
On Thanksgiving morning (at about 2 AM):
Our hosting provider for all the cuckaburro web portals decided to suspend our account for overuse this morning. Apparently we are getting popular and the databases were getting hammered. Please pray for us as I try and rebuild everything and try to find a suitable home for all our ministries (topsites, banners, web portals etc).
Your continued prayer is coveted and apreciated as Satan is fighting this ministry hard.
I will post this in the prayer requests as well. |

| 11-23-2008 College News Feeds |
Today I added a Section for newsfeeds from Christian Colleges. Over the last few weeks I have added several church news feeds and categories.
Enjoy! |
| 10-10-2008 Categories |
I am attempting to look at the categories and create a hierarchy that makes sense and eliminates some of the clutter. The Youth programs are a perfect example. I have moved the Youth programs under the ministry category "Youth" as an example.
I should have most of this completed this morning.
Enjoy,
Bob |
